Team, API keys and assistants

Everyone on your team has one role. You can see yours under Profile in the user menu.

Role In the web app What it can do
Admin Full access to all features and settings Everything below, plus the team, API keys and connected assistants
Editor Can manage shop content Add and change products, build scenes, shoot, save photos to products
Billing Can manage billing and subscriptions Change the plan, manage payment, see invoices
Viewer Read-only access to the dashboard See products, scenes and photos, and download photos

Every role can see your products, scenes and photos and download photos. Only Admin and Billing can change the plan; see Billing.

Only admins can manage the team and send invitations.

  1. Open Team and choose Invite Member.
  2. Enter their Email address and choose a Role.
  3. Choose Send Invitation.

They get an email with a link. It opens Join the team, where they enter their name and a password and choose Accept invitation.

Pending invitations are listed under the team, with who sent each one and when it expires. An admin can resend an invitation or cancel it.

On Team, open the menu on a member’s row:

  • Make Admin, Make Editor, Make Billing or Make Viewer changes their role.
  • Remove, then Remove Member, takes them off the team.

You cannot change your own role or remove yourself; another admin can.

Settings, Shop Info holds your Shop Name and its Slug (lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens). Change them and choose Save Changes.

Open the user menu and choose Profile to change your first and last name or your password. Your email address cannot be changed.

Settings, API Keys is where admins create the keys your own software uses with the Shootika REST API, and revoke them. Other roles can see the list. See Authentication for the steps.

Settings, Connected assistants lists every AI assistant connected to your store: who connected it, what it can do and when it was last used. Admins can disconnect it. See Manage connections.

Admins also see an Extra frames switch for each assistant. Extra frames are billed only on monthly plans paid through Shopify, so on a web app plan the switch has no effect: shoots stop when your credits run out (see Billing).

When you connect an assistant yourself, a Viewer or Billing member can give it the Read permission only. See Connect an assistant.
