The Shootika REST API lets your own software do what the web app does: add products and their photos, choose a model and a style, shoot on-model photos, and approve the ones you keep.

The API is for web app stores, the ones that use Shootika at panel.shootika.com. A store that uses Shootika only through the Shopify app has no API key screen; connect an AI assistant instead.

Every request goes to https://api.shootika.com/v1 with your API key in the header Authorization: Bearer shootika_sk_.... Answers are JSON, request bodies are JSON (except a photo file upload), and every id is a UUID string.

A shoot follows the same steps every time:

  1. Create a product with a photo: POST /v1/products.
  2. Pick a scene, a model in a pose and a style: GET /v1/models, GET /v1/styles, then POST /v1/scenes.
  3. Start a shoot: POST /v1/frames. This uses one frame from your plan.
  4. Poll GET /v1/frames/{frame_id} until the frame is ready.
  5. Approve it: POST /v1/frames/{frame_id}/approval.

Results are fetched by polling: your software asks for the frame until it is finished.

Every endpoint and field is in the API reference, generated from the OpenAPI spec.
