Plans and billing in the Shopify app
What each plan includes and costs is on shootika.com/pricing. This page covers where to find things in the app. Shopify bills Shootika on your Shopify bill.
Your credits
Section titled “Your credits”The Credits card on Home shows how many credits you have left (one credit is one frame), how many you used this month and today, and when some of them expire, if they do. Manage plan opens Subscription.
Choose a plan
Section titled “Choose a plan”Your store starts on the Free plan. To pick a paid plan:
- Open Subscription in the app’s menu.
- Choose Monthly or Yearly.
- Choose the plan’s button: Choose, Upgrade to or Downgrade to with the plan’s name.
- Shopify opens its page to approve the charge. Approve it.
You come back to the app, which says your plan is active. If you decline the charge on Shopify’s page, no plan is started; subscribe again from Subscription when you are ready.
To change between monthly and yearly billing on your current plan, choose Switch to yearly billing or Switch to monthly billing on its card and confirm. Shopify may ask you to approve the change.
Extra frames
Section titled “Extra frames”On a monthly paid plan, you can keep shooting after your plan’s frames are used up. Each extra frame is billed at your plan’s per-image price, up to a cap for each 30 days; the plan’s card shows the price. The Credits card says Extra photos are billed at your plan’s per-image price. when this is on.
Yearly plans have no extra-frame billing: shoots stop at your monthly allowance. The Free plan has none either.
An AI assistant uses extra frames only if you allowed it for that connection. See Manage connections.
Discount codes
Section titled “Discount codes”Enter the code under Discount code and choose Apply. It applies when you confirm your plan in Shopify.
- A discount applies to the plan’s recurring price, not to extra-frame charges.
- Some codes work with monthly billing only.
- A discount code cannot be applied to the Free plan.
- On an active monthly plan, choose Apply to current subscription. Shopify asks you to confirm the updated subscription.
Cancel
Section titled “Cancel”Open the menu beside your current plan on Subscription. It has Cancel at period end and Cancel immediately. Both cancel your paid plan in Shopify right away, whatever the label says:
- Cancel at period end asks Shopify to credit the unused part of your billing period, under Shopify’s proration rules.
- Cancel immediately cancels without that credit.
From then on, Shopify stops billing the plan, no new monthly frames are added, and extra frames stop. Frames already in your balance stay until they expire; the Credits card shows when.
To have a paid plan again, choose one on Subscription, or choose Reactivate plan. Either way, Shopify opens its page to approve a new charge.
Removing the Shootika app from your store also ends your subscription.
Charges and history
Section titled “Charges and history”Choose View billing history at the top of Subscription. Charges lists what Shopify has billed for Shootika. New charges can take up to a day to appear there; your Shopify bill always has the full record.
Subscription itself also lists your Subscription history.
